Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau  Valley  ( 185 km  – included L- D overnight at homestay )

8:00 pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi to our bike shop. The motorbike ride to Mai Chau departs from the outskirts of Hanoi at 8:30 am. Only after 50 minutes of touring,  we will be on countryside roads through some rural villages located between hills and rice fields. After having breakfast with the family, take a short walk around the rustic villages of the Thai hill-tribe that lives on the houses on stilts. Afterward, we get back to the motorbikes and keep riding up to the Moc Chau plateau. We will try to avoid the highway busy No 6, we will bike on the back mountain road that was built by the French during the Vietnam war, this trail is quiet but offers very stunning views of the surrounding mountain. Having lunch in Moc Chau plateau we on road again and ride to Da river lake, after crossing the beautiful lake, we’ll have another highlight motorbike tour in northern Vietnam along the 2 sides of the river, this motorbike tour reminds you of the motorbike tours Hanoi on the coast. We arrive at Phu Yen at 4 PM. Get a room than rest or have a cold beer at the hotel bar or get the bike again to ride to some beautiful villages of the Tay people. Back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Phu yen– Mu Cang Chai  – Than Uyen ( 220 km – B, L, D ) stay at the hotel

We take “Pho” – a “must-try” noodle soup in Vietnam for breakfast. Departing at 8:00 AM. The motorbike tour today could be the most enjoyable of the North  Vietnam motorbike trip. We bike on some of the very long and most amazing mountain passes in Northern Vietnam that can give you awesome pictures of mountain and rice terrace fields. We mostly ride on smooth roads but on both sides, scenery with rustic villages will make motorcyclists stop every 5 minutes. Riding motorbikes in Vietnam for many years, for me this part offers the best motorcycle tours in North Vietnam. We arrive in Than Uyen at 5:00 PM.

Day 4: Than Uyen  – Sapa  ( 120 Km - including  B, L, D ) overnight at the Hotel

Riding to Sapa is another highlight of the motorcycle tour in Northwest Vietnam. The motorbike touring of the first half will cross a huge green tea plantation and then the other half of the route must be one of the most incredible motorbike trips in Vietnam when we gear up and up on the O Qui Ho pass – one of the longest and most amazing passes in North Vietnam. We will gear up to the level of more than 1600 m above the sea level where we call the heaven gate – Sapa at midday. In the afternoon, we will bike down Sapa valley to some rustic villages of the Black Hmong, Red Dao, and DZay people, Moreover, the Sapa motorbike tour along the Muong Hoa valley promises to give you the best photos of stunning scenery in Northern Vietnam. We will bike back to the town in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Sapa town.

Day 5: Sapa  – Thac Ba Lake  ( 210 km including  B, L, D ) overnight at a homestay

As today is a longer ride, we will leave Sapa for Thac Ba lake earlier at around 8:00 and enjoy a great motorbike ride on the winding mountain roads through some rustic villages located on the top mountain with beautiful rice and corn terrace surrounded. The north Vietnam motorbike tour to Thac Ba lake today offers a big opportunity to say hello to China, after 1-hour of riding, we will get down to Lao Cai city and come closer to China.  Have a short ride along the Nam Thi river and have a cup of Vietnamese café on the roadside. We will stop in Pho Rang for lunch, after 30 minutes, we heading to the quiet backroads through nice rural villages with beautiful rice fields, fish farms, and palm tree hills. The last 80 km ride must be one of the most joyful motorbike tours in Hanoi  We arrive in the Dzao village which is located nearby the bank of Thac Ba lake, leave the bikes in the village and it is the time to relax and have some cold beers while having a boat trip on the peaceful lake. After one hour on the boat, we get back to the homestay for a meal with family.

Day 6: That Ba – Hanoi  ( 185 KM – B, L )

We will take you back to Hanoi on our unique road, making sure that it is very much less traffic than on the other roads. No way our road can be copied. If you are not tired today, we can offer some more off-road motorbike tours nearby Vu Linh and Thac Ba lake. Get back closer to Hanoi and traffic becomes busier and busier like a game station.
