2 Days Hanoi Easy Rider To Tam Dao Mountain - A 2-day trip to Tam Dao is the perfect "mountain escape" from Hanoi. Day 1: Hanoi – Tam Dao (approx. 80km) ( L, D )
8:30 AM pick up from your hotel in Hanoi - The Ride: Leave Hanoi via the Nhat Tan Bridge and head toward Vinh Phuc. The first 65km are flat delta roads, but the final 13km are the highlight: a steep, zig-zagging climb up the mountain with spectacular hairpins.
The Experience: Arrive by lunch and enjoy local specialties like Su Su (Chayote) greens. Spend the afternoon at the Tam Dao Stone Church and the Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac)., Stay: A mountain-view hotel near the town square to enjoy the night market.
Day 2: Tam Dao National Park – Hanoi (approx. 90km) ( B , L )
The Experience: Ride further into Tam Dao National Park or hike up to the Television Tower (1,400 steps) for a bird’s-eye view of the entire province. Visit the Tay Thien Pagoda complex nearby for a dose of spiritual history. The Return: Descend the mountain slowly to enjoy the views. On the way back to Hanoi.
