Day 1: Hanoi to Hoa Binh - Moc Chau via Old Highway 6 ( L, D )

Distance: ~190 km | Riding time: ~5.5 hours

07:30 AM – Departure from Hanoi: Head west out of the city toward Hoa Binh province. Your easy rider will navigate the bustling city traffic until you hit the smoother, quieter provincial roads.
10:00 AM – Thung Khe Pass Stop: Stop at the top of the famous White Stone Pass (Thung Khe). Enjoy a hot cup of green tea and local grilled sticky rice in bamboo (Cơm lam) while taking in panoramic views of the valley below.
11:30 AM – Old Highway 6 (Hua Tat Pass): Instead of the main highway, detour onto the scenic Old Highway 6. This stretch offers stunning, quiet scenery, pine forests, and a glimpse into traditional H'mong villages.
01:00 PM – Lunch in Moc Chau: Arrive in Moc Chau town and enjoy a lunch featuring local specialties like veal (Bê chao) or stream fish.
02:30 PM – Tea Hills & Heart-Shaped Tea Plantation: Ride through the endless, rolling green tea hills that Moc Chau is famous for.
04:00 PM – Dai Yem Waterfall or Na Ka Plum Valley: Depending on the season (plum blossoms in Jan/Feb, harvest in May), visit Na Ka Valley, or check out the historic Dai Yem Waterfall.

Day 2: Moc Chau to Mai Chau via the Da River Oasis ( B, L, D )

Distance: ~160 km | Riding time: ~3.5 hours

08:00 AM – Pine Forest in Ang Village: Take a morning walk around the peaceful lake and pine forest in Ang Village, learning about the local White Thai culture.
10:00 AM – Backroads to the Da River: Ride down from the plateau toward the Da River reservoir. The mountain roads here offer dramatic, rugged cliffside views down to the massive blue river.
12:30 PM – Lunch: Cross the river and enjoy lunch at a local spot Van Ho.
02:00 PM – Arrival in Mai Chau Valley: Ride into the breathtakingly green Mai Chau valley, flanked by dramatic karst mountains and endless rice paddies.
03:00 PM – Village Walking Tour: Explore Lac Village and Pom Coong Village. Walk or cycle along the fields to see traditional stilt houses and watch Thai women weaving vibrant textiles.

Day 3: Mai Chau to Hanoi via Pu Luong Retreat ( B, L)

Distance: ~170 km | Riding time: ~5.5 hours

08:30 AM – Morning Valley Views: Grab breakfast overlooking the misty rice fields. Ride up to the Pu Luong for a stunning final postcard view over the entire valley.
10:30 AM – Cloud Hunting at Pu Luong Summit : If weather permits, take a short mountain detour up toward Kho Muong of Thai village perched high up where clouds often gather in the morning.
12:30 PM – Lunch in Hoa Binh City: Ride down through the winding passes back into the foothills, stopping for a local lunch in Hoa Binh town near the massive Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Dam.
02:30 PM – Rural Countryside Cruise: Avoid the main highway as much as possible on the way back by taking the rustic backroads through Kim Boi or Luong Son, passing orange orchards and limestone outcrops.
04:30 PM – Return to Hanoi: Arrive back at your hotel in Hanoi just as the city lights kick on, wrapping up your 3-day loop.
