3 Day To Hai Phong - Cat Ba islands - Ha Long Bay

This 3-day Easy Rider itinerary transitions from the bustling Red River Delta to the dramatic coastal landscapes of Hai Phong and Cat Ba Island. Unlike standard bus tours, this route allows you to bring your motorbike directly onto the island via the local ferry system.  A highly-rated local operator on the island specializing in boat trips that avoid the main tourist crowds. Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong City (approx. 110km–120km) ( L, D )

8:00 AM pick up from your hotel - The Ride: Head east from Hanoi via Highway 5 (or secondary roads through Hung Yen). For a more scenic start, stop at the Bat Trang Ceramic Village, The Experience: Arrive in Hai Phong by mid-afternoon. Explore the "City of Flamboyant Flowers," known for its French colonial architecture and vibrant food scene. Stay: Overnight in Hai Phong city center.

Day 2: Hai Phong – Cat Ba Island via Ferry (approx. 40km) ( B, L , D )

The Ride: Ride across the Tan Vu–Lach Huyen Bridge one of the longest sea bridges in Southeast Asia, to reach Got Pier, The Ferry: Take the Dong Bai Ferry with your motorbike to Cai Vieng Pier on Cat Ba. The Experience: Ride the stunning Cat Ba Coastal Road—a 25km stretch hugging the limestone cliffs—to reach Cat Ba Town. Stay: Over-night in Cat Ba Town.

Day 3: Cat Ba National Park– Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (approx. 150km) ( B , L )

The Ride: Before leaving, ride into the heart of the island to Cat Ba National Park and  Hike to Ngu Lam Peak for a panoramic view of the karst forest. The Return: Take the ferry back to the mainland. We will take the Tuan Chau–Gia Luan ferry to pass through Halong City before riding back to Hanoi .
