An 11-day Easy Rider motorbike trip from Saigon to Đồng Hới covers approximately 1,350 kilometers, winding through the lush Central Highlands and back down to the scenic central coastline.Easy Rider motorcycle journey from Saigon to Đồng Hới offers the perfect mix of stunning coastal roads, dramatic mountain passes, and the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Day 1: Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) to Mũi Né (Coast) — ~220 km ( L )

Route: 7:30 AM Leave the chaotic traffic of Saigon by taking the Cat Lai ferry, riding through the rubber plantations of Đồng Nai, and hitting the coastal road from Lagi to Mũi Né.

Highlights: Driving past dragon fruit farms, coastal sand dunes, and catching the sunset at the [Mui Ne Sand Dunes](google.com Ne Sand Dunes "Mui Ne Sand Dunes").

Day 2: Mũi Né to Đà Lạt (Highlands) — ~155 km ( B, L )

Route: Climb from the hot coastal plains up into the cool Central Highlands via the winding Đại Ninh Pass (National Road 28B) or Gia Bắc Pass.

Highlights: Dramatic mountain curves, transitioning ecosystems, coffee plantations, and checking into the chilly pine-forested city of [Da Lat](google.com Lat tourist spots "Da Lat travel").

Day 3: Đà Lạt to Buôn Ma Thuột — ~210 km ( B, L )

Route: Follow National Road 27 through steep mountain terrain, passing traditional villages of the M'nông and Ede ethnic minority groups.

Highlights: Riding along the scenic Lăk Lake, traditional stilt houses, and arriving in Vietnam's coffee capital, Buôn Ma Thuột.

Day 4: Buôn Ma Thuột to Pleiku — ~180 km ( B , L )

Route: Head north on National Road 14 (Ho Chi Minh Highway East), cruising through rolling hills lined with endless pepper and rubber plantations.

Highlights: Stopping at the massive Dray Nur or Dray Sap Waterfalls, visiting local weasel coffee farms, and viewing the volcanic T'Nưng Lake (Sea Lake) in Pleiku.

Day 5: Pleiku to Măng Đen via Kon Tum — ~110 km ( B , L )

Route: A shorter riding day heading north to Kon Tum, then climbing up National Road 24 to the mist-shrouded plateau town of Măng Đen.

Highlights: The historic Kon Tum Wooden Church, traditional Bahnar communal houses (Rông houses), and the cool, pine-scented mountain air of Măng Đen.

Day 6: Măng Đen to Quảng Ngãi (Coast) — ~170 km ( B , L )

Route: Drop back down from the Central Highlands to the central coast via the remote and beautiful Violak Pass.

Highlights: Sweeping terrace rice field views on the pass, riding alongside rivers, and rejoining the coastal plains of Quảng Ngãi.

Day 7: Quảng Ngãi to Hội An (Coast) — ~130 km ( B , L )

Route: Ride north along smaller coastal paths and local roads bypassing parts of Highway 1.

Highlights: Visiting the historic My Lai Memorial, exploring the Tam Thanh Mural Village, and entering the lantern-lit ancient streets of An Ancient Town 

Day 8: Hội An to Huế via Hải Vân Pass — ~130 km ( B , L )

Route: Ride through Đà Nẵng, then scale the legendary Hải Vân Pass, dropping down into Lăng Cô Bay before pushing to Huế.

Highlights: The breathtaking ocean-and-mountain vistas of the Hải Vân Pass (made famous by Top Gear), coastal lagoons, and the imperial history of Huế.

Day 9: Huế to Khe Sanh (Ho Chi Minh Trail) — ~160 km ( B , L )

Route: Head northwest toward the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), shifting onto Route 9 toward the Laotian border.

Highlights: The historic Đakrông Bridge, remnants of the DMZ, and the mountain-ringed valley of Khe Sanh (famous for the 1968 battle site).

Day 10: Khe Sanh to Phong Nha (Ho Chi Minh Trail West) — ~240 km ( B , L )

Route: The crown jewel of Vietnamese motorbike riding—the Ho Chi Minh Trail West branch. This is a remote, challenging, and spectacularly pristine section of road through limestone karsts.

Highlights: Virtually no traffic, dense jungle canopy, stunning limestone mountain ranges, and arriving at the UNESCO-listed cave kingdom of Phong Nha.

Day 11: Phong Nha to Đồng Hới — ~45 km ( B , L )

Route: Spend the morning exploring the caves, then take a relaxed, short afternoon cruise down to the coastal city of Đồng Hới to conclude your trip. ( You can stay longer on beach or fly Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh by your own . Say goodbye team - End The Tour .
